ADULTS
The spiritual journey is for all of life. God has a rich faith of greater connection with the deepest parts of ourselves, our community and with God. While some of us may have grown up going to Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and Youth Camp, other adults are diving into faith for the first time. At Central, God invites all of us to find our place of connection and service within a multigenerational church family. In our Adult Bible Study Classes, we seek to teach members to Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples in everyday life.

Below you will find some basic facts about each class, along with a brief description of what the class is studying and its approach to the material. It is impossible to capture the flavor of a class in a single paragraph; but, perhaps this guide will help you find a place to begin exploring. All our classes provide support and fellowship to their members.
Adult I — (Young Adults)
We thrive on group discussion and truly enjoy the time spent together. Most of us range in ages from mid 20’s to sneaking up on 40. Come join us and our fearless leader Mr. David Nease. While you are visiting you can enjoy a hot or cold coffee from our new coffee bar!
Married Couples
We seek to encourage married couples to study and live God’s Word together. Jim and Rhonda Willeford are teaching this class.
Women’s I
Mrs. Carrie Drewery is the leader of this class. This is group of women ages 25-60 helping each other follow Jesus & studying the Bible together.
Women’s II
Taught by Mrs. Beth Russell, the Women’s II class is a mission minded group that enjoys in depth study of God’s word. They study their way through different books of the Bible together learning and discovering as they go.
Women’s III
We begin our class with prayer then have a lively discussion of the scripture and Bible Study lesson from Lifeway’s Bible Studies for Life. We close in prayer for the upcoming week. The leader of this class is the fabulous Mrs. Sheila Bussey.
Men’s I
We strive to teach the word of God to men 50+ in order to Equip them to be leaders in the church, Godly husbands, and Godly fathers to their kids.
Men’s II
Wisdom seekers - this class is for you. Study the Bible with a great group of men and Mr. Spencer Mullins as your leader.
next steps
Now that you’re a Christian, where do you go from there? Next Steps is a 1 week class that discusses essentials for a new believer: the gospel, baptism, church membership, and Christian growth. If you would be interested in signing up for this class, contact Pastor Sam.
best Steps
Best steps is a follow up discipleship class taught by Darrell Blaine. Are you interested in learning to help yourself and others learn to walk closely with Jesus as His disciple? Are you willing to study, memorize Scripture, and wrestle with the personal spiritual transformation that comes with being a disciple of Jesus? Women’s Ministry
The Lord has blessed us with a wonderful group of women who meet every month to: share a meal, enjoy fellowship, pray for one another, receive a devotional thought, and look for opportunities to serve others. This ministry is being led by Carrie Dickerson.
Men’s Ministry
The men’s ministry is being led by Spencer Mullins, and meets quarterly for a Men’s Breakfast where we grow, gather, and seek to glorify our Savior, Jesus Christ. The men of Central are also looking for opportunities to serve and reach others with the gospel of Jesus.
Food Pantry
On the second Tuesday of each month, a few churches in our area gather together at the Community Center to provide groceries for people living in Central who are in need.
lunch Bunch
On the first Tuesday of each month, at noon, we host a Senior Citizen’s luncheon where we study God’s Word together, enjoy a meal, and visit with friends. Any and all people are invited, regardless of age.
